Hello, I'm Dr Meg Stuart-Richards, a HCPC & EMDR UK Registered Clinical Psychologist with full BABCP CBT Accreditation. I specialise in offering compassionate therapy, supervision and bespoke training both in person at Lemon Street, Truro & online to adults and adolescences (16+ years old) for a wide range of mental health difficulties. My clinic space is currently full and so I am holding a mailing list for new clients to update you when a time does become availible.
12 years+ experience of working as a therapist in both NHS and private teams, with expertise and specialist training in CBT, EMDR, foundation level Family Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy. A Visiting Specialist Lecturer on the University of Plymouth Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme for CBT, with a strong interest in collaborative work that integrates different therapeutic approaches to provide support tailored to each individual’s needs and strengths.
Nima means “sunshine” in the Himalayan Ladakhi language. It is also a family name and reflects the warmth and hope at the heart of this practice.

Supervision is also provided for therapists, both individually and in group settings, with a focus on CBT, EMDR and integrative Clinical Psychology approaches. Support is available to help maintain CBT accreditation and ongoing professional standards.
Bespoke training packages are offered for organisations, tailored to their specific learning needs across a range of psychological topics, including trauma-informed practice and managing stress in the workplace.
Individual Therapy:
After completing the short referral form on the 'Book Therapy' page, your enquiry will be reviewed to ensure that your needs fall within the scope of practice and that suitable availability is in place. If so, you will be offered a free 30-minute initial phone consultation to further discuss your needs and agree meeting times. Should you then wish to proceed with therapy:
Individual sessions: £110 per 50 minute per session
The average fee for a UK Clinical Psychologist is around £130 per 50 minute session. I offer this reduced rate to all clients to reflect the lower average salaries in Cornwall and to support accessibility, recognising that therapy is a meaningful investment.
A further discounted block booking option is also available:
Block of 6, 50 minute sessions: £600 total for face to face (Equivalent to £100 per session)
Supervision:
Individual supervision is offered at £95 for 60 minutes and £120 for 90 minutes.
Group supervision is available at a reduced rate of £60 per person for 60 minutes and £75 per person for 90 minutes. Groups are limited to a maximum of three participants to ensure sufficient time and attention for each person to present and reflect on their cases. Bespoke Psychological Training for Organisations:
Training is designed to be practical, evidence-based, and tailored to the specific needs of your team or organisation. Topics may include trauma-informed practice, managing stress and burnout, psychological safety, leadership wellbeing, and other areas relevant to workforce mental health.
Fee Guide
Fees reflect the level of specialist clinical training, experience, and the bespoke nature of the work:
Hourly rate: £200–£250
Half-day workshop (up to 3.5 hours): £600-800
Full-day workshop (up to 7 hours): £1,200–£1,600
Fees include consultation to understand your organisation’s goals, bespoke content tailored to your team, preparation time, training materials, session delivery, and agreed follow-up support or summary resources. This ensures the training is relevant, engaging, and directly applicable to your workplace context.
